We are pleased to announce the second annual lawTechCamp in Toronto. Help bridge the gap between the tech and legal communities and encourage the exchange of ideas and knowledge between the two areas.
What is lawTechcamp?
lawTechcamp is a BarCamp-style community UnConference for new media and technology enthusiasts and legal professionals including technology lawyers, technology developers in the legal space, legal information professionals, bloggers, tweeters, social networkers, and anyone curious about new media technology and its intersection with the legal profession.
Who should come to lawTechcamp?
lawTechcamp is not just for legal professionals. If you are interested in the intersection of law and technology, such as how the law applies to technology, improving access to justice and the legal profession with technology, or you are someone who is curious about law and technology, then please join us – and bring a friend or colleague.
And if you are a legal professional, lawTechCamp is applying for CPD accreditation. So there’s another reason to come out and join us!
There is no charge to attend lawTechcamp, but registration is required.
When and where is this being held?
lawTechcamp is scheduled for the morning of Saturday, May 12, 2012 from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm. The event will be held at the University of Toronto Faculty of Law, at 78 Queens Park right next door to the ROM. When you enter the gates, you will be going to Flavelle House on the left

What about the sessions?
You can find a list of the sessions and speakers on the Sessions page. What’s really great about these sessions, besides the useful and substantial content, is that they have been suggested by the participants themselves (both attendees and the presenters). Take a look at the sessions, we’re sure you’ll find quite a few that you’d find interesting. Stay tuned as we continue to update this page with new sessions
